Windows 10: "Spikes" of battery capacity for some odd reason?

42,094 is the design capacity of this laptop as it usually should be... however I been noticing this.Why is the capacity reaching as two-hundred thousand?! what's going on here? in my room I have a bunch of room fans plugged in and sometimes when they unplug I can hear a "crackle" in my earbuds connected to my laptop, are these power surges effecting my laptop due to stuff plugged in next to it while charging? what's going on??

Acer battery won't charge

What if the battery unremoveable? Should I disassemble and remove it? also there is a switch underneath the case and around the RAM slot that prevent the laptop to turn on when the case is open and without the charger. Is that the same as removing the battery? although when turned on with charger, the laptop still see the battery. Thanks

I took the report, the design capacity was 41.440 mWh but full charge capacity is now 25.752 mWh. Is it that bad? Before this happened I believe HWMonitor also show the same number with 38% Wear Level.

Wow.

Your full charge capacity is higher than the design capacity ?

That is certainly unexpected.

To me, it means that there is something wrong with
either the design capacity or the
full charge capacity since the design capacity should always be equal or higher than the full charge capacity.

Also, what is odd in your report is the cycle count, which is very high for a new tablet.

All in all, we can see here that there are issues with those managed
battery values, and Windows provides no means of fixing that.

That is the reason for this post, which still stands today without any proper answers.

 

Full charge capacity of battery decreased

Repeat the steps Dave suggest you other three times.

Also you can uninstall and reinstall battery from device manager before each charge. You can do that:

1. Press WINDOWS + X

2. Click on "Device Manager"

3. Click on "Battery"

4. Right click on your battery

5. Click on "Uninstall device"

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each element on battery list

7. Click on "Detects Hardware change" (monitor icon)
