Windows 10: Splice Desktop App not working 2021

Hi,I am trying to run a desktop app called Splice Sounds,I have installed the app a long time ago and it was working fine as usual, but all of a sudden it closed and never opened again. I reinstalled it but when I try and run the app, it doesnt open. I clicked on the icon several times and it just dosen't run the app.I have spoken to the team at Splice and tried everything that they have suggested with no luck, I think this is more of a Windows 10 problem then a Splice app problem. I have tried the following: Uninstalling and installing the app again, restarting my pc several times, turning of

Splice Desktop App not working

Hi,

I am trying to run a desktop app called splice,

I have installed the app and that the installation seems to work fine, the problem comes when I try and run the app. On opening the app a blank white box pops up and doesn't disappear, the app never opens but the Splice app icon appears in the icon box and
the app appears to be running but not displaying.

I have spoken to the team at Splice and tried everything that they have suggested with no luck, I think this is more of a Windows 10 problem then a Splice app problem. I have tried the following: Uninstalling and installing the app again, restarting my pc
several times, turning off my computer security and firewall will trying to run the app, checking for windows updates and still nothing.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated,

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
