Windows 10: Split screen in File Explorer as in Edge

Now that we have tabs at the top in File Explorer as in browsers like Edge. I would also like to have the split screen option in File Explorer as in Edge. I know that I can use the split option for any app on my desktop but that requires working in full screen/desktop and that hinders visibility for open apps and slows me down at work.I have waited for this option in File Explorer for like forever...Thanks, Asgeir

To do this follow the steps below.

• Press WINDOWS + i on your keyboard
  
• Click on "APPS" then click on Default apps
  
• Click on Microsoft Edge browser
  
• Then in the "PDF" option you choose which default browser you want to open files in PDF format.

Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge unable to load any webpage

  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.

Step 3: Clear caches and cookies

  Open Microsoft EDGE.
  
• 
  After that click on (…) “More action” option which is visible at top right side of the browser and you will see “Settings” option.
  
• 
  Under “Settings” scroll down and you will see a button “Choose what to clear” under “Clear browsing data” option.
  
• 
  Once you click on this option you will see list of feature, Select Cached data and file.
  
• 
  Here you need to check the option you want to clear and click “Clear” button.
