  1. Spontaneous and simultaneous crashing in File Explorer, WhatsApp and new Outlook

I've had this bug a day or two ago and it went away naturally unsure how. It has returned! I can't click on any button in file explorer for example, a drive without it crashing, WhatsApp messages can't be sent or received in the WhatsApp desktop app and the new Outlook app cannot be opened.I already tried the sfc /scannow and other common cmd commands that come up online, these do not mitigate the issue.I have a Ryzen 9 5950X, 64GB of DDR4 some vengeance, some crucial, clocked to 2666MHz as the lowest common denominator, NVIDIA TITAN Xp graphics card.

How to install outlook express on windows xp with explorer 8?

This is an awkward problem to solve and one I don't think is worth the time and effort.

The OP would be better off either using a modern webmail service like gmail or outlook.com or using a modern email client like Windows Live Mail like FX-GMC suggested or Thunderbird from Mozilla. If nothing else, Outlook Distress was notorious for corrupting its data files and losing all your email in one easy step. Not worth it.

    Outlook PST File Problem

That is exactly what I was going to suggest. Export everything to another PST file, delete the old(or rather move it out of the default folder) and replace it with the new PST file that you exported.

You can try the following steps:

    1. Tap down the Windows button first to activate the search bar.
    2. After that, in the search bar type control, and then click on the top-most search result, that is on Control Panel.
    3. Next, in the search bar type file.
    4. Now, from the search results click on File Explorer Options.
    5. Then, click on the Clean button.
