From settings, can you please describe the path to find the spooler and........restart it?I can get to task manager, then services, then.__________?Thanks is advance, David shields

Script to restart print spooler

Hi

I'm trying to get a script to restart the print spooler on a server from a slient so I don't have to remote in and restart it manually each time. Is this possible?

I have the restart code, just need to point it to a server.

Print Spooler Issue

For step by step instructions on how you can manually start the Print Spooler Service, follow these:

• Click Windows tab.
• Type Control Panel > System and Maintenance
  > Administrative Tools.
• Double click Services.
• Right click to the Print Spooler service > Properties.

However, we suggest you can refer to an answer given by Prabhavathi Patil on this

thread.

We also recommend that you update the driver for your printer.

Issue after installation with print spooler

Thanks for the response.

None of the items listed in the above directions were available to delete. The printer is NOT in the device list (no printers are). The Spool/Spooler folder does not exist. I can start the print spooler, but I get the same print spooler error when attempt;tiung
to install any printer.
