Windows 10: Spooler error

I have windows 10 and the print spooler service refuses to run. The printer, HP Laserjet 1300, which was working before, is no longer being recognized and I cannot add any printer. the issue is *spooler failed to run* and *spooler file is missing*. I added the images I already tried solutions found on tutorials but the situation remain identical. I remember that about 10 days ago, I was unable to start my computer after it went to sleep mode. When it finally started, I received a notification that a recent update that was causing it had been removed. I guess this could be the reason of the issue. Help please. Thank you

Print Spooler Error 1068

I followed the steps you provided. When I get to the general the spooler status is stopped, when I try to start

and automatic is selected the Error 1068. If I try to update through HP, it stated that the spooler is not running.

    C:\Windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS

  Click "Continue" or "Yes", if message prompts.

  Delete all files in "PRINTERS" folder and then close Windows explorer.
  
  • 
    Note: Please do not delete "PRINTERS" folder. Only delete its contents.

  Open services, and start "Print Spooler" service.

• Double click Services.
• Right click to the Print Spooler service > Properties.
