Windows 10: Spooler Service is dying after faulty upgrade

Hi,it seems like the Spooler service is not working it fails on trying to install a printerafter a failed Windows update around KB5044273.The error I am seeing is it's a german edition:```Name der fehlerhaften Anwendung: spoolsv.exe, Version: 10.0.19041.3636, Zeitstempel: 0x3e742167Name des fehlerhaften Moduls: KERNELBASE.dll, Version: 10.0.19041.3758, Zeitstempel: 0xd80f8f12Ausnahmecode: 0xc00000fdFehleroffset: 0x00000000000b46d7ID des fehlerhaften Prozesses: 0x2de4Startzeit

Printer Spooler Service stops after upgrading to Windows 10

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + letter 'R.'
• Type "Services.msc" and hit OK.
• Locate "Print Spooler" service.
• Right click and select properties.
• Stop the service.
• Go to the "Recovery tab."
• Set the "First Failure" and "Second Failure" to "Restart the Service."
• From the Dependencies tab, ensure that RPC is turned on.
• Apply changes.
• Delete all the Print Job from C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers.
• Press Windows key + letter 'R.'
• Type "Services.msc" and hit OK.
• Locate "Print Spooler" service.
• Right click and select properties.
• Start the service.
• Apply changes and hit OK.

This issue might be due to corruption of settings.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• • Open the Services window (Windows key + R, type services.msc, press enter).
  • Select Print Spooler and click the Stop icon.
  • Close the services page, wait for few minutes.
  • Return to the Services window, select Print Spooler, and click Start.

Printer Spooler service renamed to just Spooler service

We have a Windows 10 computer that is unable to print as the Print Spooler service is not running and will not start. When I look in Services, I see that the Printer Spooler service is renamed to just Spooler service.

Any suggestions on how this could have happened? Is there an update that caused this issue?
