Windows 10: Spotify moves/resizes on the windows 11 task bar

I upgraded my PC to Windows11 yesterday, ever since the widget on the task bar that shows what is currently playing seems to `move` , in the sense of getting shorter/longer depending on what it's showing , so if it was showing `Phil` it would be short , but if it was `Phil Collins - In the air tonight` it would be longer/bigger. It's pretty annoying because it shortens/lengthens everytime a song changes. Is there a way to FREEZE it and stop it from moving? It's pretty annoying. I hope I've explained myself enough , thanking you!

There may be several reasons why you are unable to resize or move applications after installing an update. To better assist you with your concern, we would like you to answer the questions below:

• Does it happen only on one application?
• Which application are you having issues resizing or moving?

In the meantime, we suggest you to run the Windows 10 troubleshooter. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel
• Run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter

Task bar in Windows 10 doesn't move

Before we proceed,I would like you to answer the following question:

• Did you try resizing the taskbar after unlocking it?

I suggest you to follow the methods below:

Method 1

If not,then I suggest you to resize it by moving mouse pointer towards the upper edge of the taskbar and you will see a double headed arrow which will help you to resize the task bar.

if issue persists,

Method 2

I suggest you to put your computer in safe mode and check:

Safe mode starts Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. It can help you troubleshoot problems on your PC. For example, if the problem doesn't happen in safe mode, you'll know default settings and basic device drivers
aren't causing the issue.

Small gap between Spotify window andtask bar in Windows 11





I was using Spotify on windows 10 and it was working fine.

One day I got notification in Windows Update saying "Windows 11 is ready for your pc".

After upgrading to Windows 11, I noticed a small gap between task bar spotify window [Maximized].

This is only happening with spotify and I don't prefer going back to windows 10 for such a small bug.

Can anyone suggest any fix ? I even tried a clean reinstallation of spotify, it didn't work.
