Windows 10: Spotlight image always different for all users of same PC + Dynamic Theme history inconsistent

Hello,

why is it that the spotlight image displayed on the lock screen of different users of same PC are always different from

each other ? The images are updated via Dynamic Theme app and do change every day.

This has always been the case since I am using Dynamic Theme and all the rest is working fine .

All users share the same details culture = France for Daily bing , autosave is on, etc .

Besides, for a given user, when I view the history of images in Dynamic Theme , I notice 2 things :

1/ the history is different between the lock screen tab and the Daily Windows Spotlight tab in Dynamic Theme why ?

2/ the displayed images are correctly saved via the autosave feature of Dynamic Theme ok


In summary, all is working well for each user taken independently , I am just concerned about missing some great

pictures since I normally use only 1 user.

I can't get Windows Spotlight to work when starting up Surface, Windows 10. I have tried using a desk top app, also. Windows spotlight is chosen for startup

HI DLyons17 ... I find windows spotlight is inconsistent.

What i use is the dynamic theme from the store.

Much better because you and pick between Bing or Windows Spotlight images.

And look at the history of them as well.

Win10 Dynamic Theme question

I'm running win10 Home version 1903 on both my PC and my Laptop.
I have Dynamic theme setup identically on both PC and Laptop.
Dynamic theme is set to use Windows Spotlight as Background, and Bing as Lock Screen.
When I boot the PC, the Lock Screen image is blurred (I'm ok with that).
When I boot the Laptop, the Lock Screen image is replaced by default Win10 colour.
I'd like the Laptop to operate the same as my PC.
Any ideas, please?

Problem solved:
I went to Settings/Personalisation/Lock Screen. Turned ON "Show Lock Screen Background Picture on the Sign-In screen".

theme inconsistancy on Mango!

phone: HTC Titan windows phone 7.5



Hi all

I just noticed that there is an annoying inconsistency regarding how some application deal with the theme!. Namely:

• Emails (whatever email inbox you use)
• office hub
• games hub

These application ALWAYS use the "light background" theme no matter what theme i Choose!

the question is: is this a buggy behaviour? a design mistake? or intentional inconsistency which is tasteless and not smart???
