  1. Sppsvc absorbing ~30% CPU performance once every minute common issues?

    Hello to everyone!

    First post in this community, hope it helps.

    Win10 user, I'm currently experiencing the sppsvc.exe or "Microsoft Software Protection Platform Service" high CPU usage, been quite some time.

    Some research on google didn't lead to a solution. Instead, I just got familiar with this issue, along with the solutions that are suggested around the web. As a fact, between Step 2 and Step 3, quite some people may surrender, for different and logical reasons, meaning that a better documentation of the sppsvc.exe conflict can be done. Thinking of that, a simple chart would suffice, showing the frequency of specific applications that brought a conflict with the sppsvc.exe process.

    The ideal solution should be anyway:

    1. Scan for malicious software, as hard as you can Antivirus, Antimalware, ... ;
    2. Clean Boot your hardware, also known as "Start your device withWindows only fundamental processes". Problem should not persists, because sppsvc is a Windows fundamental process itself;
    3. Reboot your hardware, adding not many processes at the time, until you find the application that causes the issue.
      Also known as "Find it".

    This is the most reasonable approach, we have to know it. Yet I know too that the most frequent cause is piracy-derivated software, and my PC will not accept it passively. This way I would look at the ideal solution more consistently, as is, after discarding the most specific and frequently recognized solutions.

    So which are the applications that most frequently caused conflicts with our Windows process?

    :)

    INCORRECT CPU FREQUENCY READING

    Hello Muhammad,

    CPU usage depends on the applications that are open to your device. To isolate the problem, we suggest that you answer the following questions:

    • Can you include a screenshot of the CPU reading?
    • Have you tried performing a
      clean boot
      to eliminate software conflicts?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Looking forward to your response.
