Hi Team, We are seeing an server2019 or server2022 installation fails when the machine has already OLEDB 18.6.7,01/18/2024 12:59:32.102 Setup closed with exit code: 0x84C40013Is their any way to find more log details on why it fails or what causes this issue.we are installing using a silent command,/x:C:\temp1 /q /ACTION=INSTALL /FEATURES=SQL /INSTANCENAME=MSSQLSERVER2022 /AGTSVCACCOUNT="NT AUTHORITY\Network Service" /SQLSVCINSTANTFILEINIT="True" /IACCEPTSQLSERVERLICENSETERMSAs per sqlsetup.log============01/18/2024 12:56:53.446 Attempting to launch process c:\temp1\SQL2019\x64\ScenarioEngine.

WSL / Bash on Windows 10: Creating UNIX user failed, returned error code 10

When trying to create user accounts in Bash on Ubuntu on Windows 10 I receive: Creating UNIX user failed, returned error code 10.

When entering bash I get the message groups: cannot find name for group ID 0.

I am thus stuck with the default root user. I have tried reinstalling to no avail.

I also tried to add users from within bash (entering using the bash command in Powershell) as suggested by @CodeIt, without success.

 

BIOS error codes

So I have motherboard with installed small LED screen, which presents BIOS error codes.

Where can I find a list of those errors. And I don't mean beep codes, but the "number" codes.

Ex after installing sound card, the motherboard startup fails with the code 15.

Error: No work available to process

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.
