  1. SSD 100% active time and unresponsive

My PC is seemingly randomly but typically while running various games becomes unresponsive for about a minute. In task manager, the SSD Active time shows as 100%, but there does not appear to be any read/write data being transferred. This PC was built in December 2022, and I haven't had any problems prior to this. Everything is running at stock settings. - BOTH of my NVMe SSDs are displaying this problem. - Both drives have about 50% of their respective space available- Western Digital Dashboard shows both with a drive health of 100%. Troubleshooting steps already completed: - All driver

    SSD Disk Active time 100%

Yes, I run the test when the disk was completely idle and 0% usage.

AHCI is enabled. I also run the same test on my 2nd SSD and this one much faster:

I will clone my current system on that 2nd SSD and see if that help. I'm pretty sure that this was the problem.

    I'll post back the results.

    cheers

  3. SSD Active time goes to 100% randomly on Win11

My SSD active time goes to 100% randomly and even gives BSOD sometimes. I have checked SSD health, its 100%, have checked for viruses, spyware or malware, nothing. Everything is up to date, no updates, all drivers are also up to date.

SSD 100% active time and unresponsive

    SSD Disk Active time 100%

    Hi,
I have a relatively fresh installation of Windows 10 but it often gets very laggy.
    - Any window takes a while to open
    - Even typing on the keyboard has a delay
    - Programs not responding

I did the usual checks such as
    - Antivirus / Antispyware
    - Drivers update

I noticed that my C: SSD disk is often at 100% "Active Time". There are some processes writing/reading from the SSD but that something the SSD should handle without freezing the entire OS.

SSD 100% active time and unresponsive 106031d1485972958t-ssd-disk-active-time-100-a-ssd2.png

    Any ideas what's wrong?

    cheers,
