    Hey all

    Have just spent 3 day's trying to install win 10 update (from win 7).

    I have now been able to do it but had to reinstall win 7 to a standard hard drive I am trying to clone it to my ssd drive now

    My problem is I have 2 sets of raid ssd drives and 1 off them is not seen by windows 10 at all any help would be great thanks

    Quick note: I found out it is possible to download WIN 10 onto a flash drive, disconnect my hard drive, then install W10 to the smaller SSD.

    Windows 10 System Reserved Partition

    After many attempts to get Win10 to install I kept getting that message that the researve partition could not be updated I reverted to the original hard drive that came with my Dell PC. I had unplugged it when I installed my SSD drive and a large hard drive.
    It was loaded with Win 7, the upgrade went smoothly. After installation I hooked the SSD back up and the PC boots with out issue except it is booting to the hard drive not the SSD. That said the PC seems much faster.

    I will keep it this way until a fix is found to boot to a SSD. So far I am very pleased with the performance of Win 10 and I find it much easier to use than Win 8.1.
