Windows 10: SSD is seen by Device Management but not in Drive Management

Hi,I've a SSD installed in my computer SSD M.2 NVMe, 1Tio.The motherboard BIOS tells me it is there, all tests passed.Windows 10 sees it in the Device Manager, under drives, as WDS100T3X0C-00SJG0 and is said to be fully functional on bus 0, Target Id 0 and LUN 0.Device events tells:L'appareil SCSI\Disk&Ven_NVMe&Prod_WDS100T3X0C-00SJ\5&383cdc82&0&000000 a été configuré.Nom du pilote : disk.infGUID de classe : {4d36e967-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}Date du pilote : 06/21/2006Version du pilote : 10.0.19041.1Fournisseur du pilote : MicrosoftSection du

No hardware listed in Device manager?

I don't konw whathappend but in Device manager and in my Network connections there is nothing where there used to be a Modem listed and all my hardware in Device Manager. What happend and how do I fix this?

 

SSD not being shown in disk management

We need to do further investigation on your concern so that we can identify the cause of the issue:

• Have you tried connecting it to a different USB port?
• Have you checked if the SSD is visible in Device Manager? Follow these steps to verify if it is visible in Device Manager:
  
  • Right-click on Start and click-on Device Manager.
  • Click-on the Disk drive and check if it is there.
  • If it is visible, try to check if you can update its driver.

Unknown Drives in Device Manager


I.ve recently noticed that ALL of my computers drives are listed as "Unknown" in Device Manager. I've checked in Properties to upgrade drivers only to be informed that the "best drivers for this device is already installed" against all the drives including HDD's, SSD's and USB drives. the machine runs fine and in Disk Management they are all listed as they should be. Has anyone experienced a similar problem? All hard drives appear in the BIOS as they should.
