Windows 10: SSD not creating partitions after deleting them through CMD

HelloAfter my windows got corrupted, I started installation of windows 20 through usb. But the partitions weren't formatting, so I opened CMD and in diskpart i selected my disk and entered clean command. But now I can't create new partitions. Windows installation setup can't create partitions, cmd also doesn't creates themvirtual disk error: The object is not found . I also tried 3rd party softwares but they aren't working as well.I tried complete erase through cmdd 3rd party apps but problem still persists.Please help.......My SSD: WD Green 240 GB

Help: I think I have "bricked" my ssd

Try this when "clean" does not work.

1. Run cmd prompt as admin.
2. diskpart
3. list disk
4. select disk (whatever # the hdd is here)
5. list partition
6. select partition (whatever # the partition is here)
7. delete partition override

The override command is a useful one.
If that doesn't work, connect it to a different PC and try the same thing.
To create one main partition of the whole disk (after partitions are deleted), type: create partition primary

 

W7 Hard drive partition issue

to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

- press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
- diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
- list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
- select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
- clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
- create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
- exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
- click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that

 

Help, I deleted a partition, and can't seem to "extend" the other partition

Ok, here's how it happened.

I had 2 partition. XP and Win7 x86.

I shrank the Win7 x86 partition and created a new partition (Win7 X64)

I then deleted Win7 x86 partition.

edit: what warup suggested did the trick. It took 20+ minutes for that software to do it, but hey it worked.. Thanks
