Windows 10: SSD Not Recognized During Windows Installation Despite BIOS Recognition

Hi everyone,I recently bought an ADATA SU650 512GB SSD, which is correctly recognized by the BIOS. However, when creating the Windows installation media, the SSD does not appear as an available partition. I have installed Ubuntu on the SSD without any issues, which confirms that it is functioning correctly.I have tried different Windows installation media on various USB drives, but the result is the same: the SSD is not recognized during installation. I also tried the Intel Rapid Storage driver via USB in the driver load option, but it didn’t help.I used diskpart, but when selecting "list disk

Windows Installer not recognizing M.2 SSD but BIOS does

I want to install Windows on a 500GB M.2 SSD that I have on my ASUS TUF F15 laptop but the Windows Installer doesn't recognize the SSD when BIOS does. I have tried literally every solution i could find and nothing has worked so far but I feel like I am close to solving my issue. Any solution that involves accessing Windows is immediately thrown away.

I have tried:

adjusting the SSD position ensuring its secured

tried formatting it in CMD but it doesn't appear on the disk list and is grayed out on the installer

tried using a different M.2 port

tried resetting bios

tried enabling/disabling secure boot

cant find an option to enable/disable the SSD

cant find an option to enable/disable UEFI

boot menu only gives fast boot and delete boot option

tried updating bios

tried disabling fast boot

This happened after i screwed around with intel RAID stuff and it basically killed my SSD. RAID is no longer enabled on the SSD.

The installer also suggests downloading storage drivers, but I highly doubt thats the issue.

My last hope at this point is buying a new SSD and going from there but I'd rather make absolutely sure this is unresolvable before spending money on a new SSD.

 

Windows 10 SSD Boot and Sleep faliure

Windows cannot stop the BIOS recognising the SSD. If at any time you can go into the BIOS and the SSD is not listed then you have an (intermittent) hardware fault. It does not matter what the precursor steps are if the hardware was OK it must be listed

Step 6 is categorical, you have a hardware fault. BIOS device recognition is always before drivers load so they cannot affect the process
