SSD not showing up (Not a usual case)

Well I searched all over the web and couldn't find a solution, and even managed to almost screw up everything.

Basically I have 2 SSD, one with 110GB and another with 120GB. I just formatted everything and did a clean windows install.
I chose the 110GB as the driver for the windows installation, but after the install the 120GB wasn't showing in "My computer" only the 110GB with the windows installed. Then after some research to find out why it wasn't showing I found the "Disk Management" window, there the 120GB disk have the "System" status but I didn't installed windows on it... and that same driver isn't showing up, and all the windows files are installed in the 110GB driver.

Also for some reason the 120GB driver have 2 partitions, one with 119.24GB and another with 834MB, how do I merge it again and how do I make it accessible again?

    :)

    BitFenix Prodigy Case - tips

    3 questions for you fellas:

    • What kind of PSU would I need for a gt720+i5+hdd+ssd? I was thinking 400w should be plenty, right?
    • What kind of cool blue lighting would you suggest for that case? I got the one with a big window (the case is shown in my profile picture)

    SSD Crucial Bx 100 - rattling/vibrating. Possible?

This has been suggested several times already, and it has been suggested you try to move the SSD, remove it, or even suspend it in your case. Will you please try one of these?

If you don't understand vibration and resonance, please refer to @dorsetknob 's post above. *Smile SSD not showing up (Not a usual case) :) It has been explained that something else moving/vibrating (even if you don't think they're vibrating they are...), fans, hard disk drives, and anything with a motor will cause some form of vibration at certain frequencies. This can be transfered through your case's chassis and where you mounted your SSD could be reaching a certain frequency that causes it to slightly move and rattle against the case.

We are suggesting you take action and report back..you keep asking questions from step 1...we should be on step 4 by now...that is solution.

Try what has been suggested and report back please. Otherwise all you're doing is leading this thread in an endless circle and the help will stop shortly thereafter.

    *Toast :toast:

SSD storage keeps filling up on its own

    Hi Ash,

There's a possibility that the files are just hidden. As an initial troubleshooting, we suggest following the steps below on how to display hidden files that's eating space of your SSD:

    • On the Search bar, type folder, and then select
Show hidden files and folders from the search results.
    • Under Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives,
      and then select OK.

Keep us in the loop with the result.
