    Hello,I bought a new ssd to transfer windows to, i did something wrong in the cloning process because the ssd now only shows the space used by the original disk111 GB instead of the almost 500GB of the new SSD. It doesn`t show as unallocated space and any try in formating to disk only shows the 120 GB of the space option. Thank you for readingRicardo

    Unallocated Space on my SSD

    You shouldn't have to, I've done this before without even rebooting the machine I was doing it on. However, the unallocated space has to be right next to the volume you want to expand, and it has to be marked as unallocated not just "free space".

    Do you have more than one volume on the SSD, or is it just the C Drive?

    SSD missing space, no unallocated space either.

    I'm running windows 10. I cloned my 512GB SSD to a larger 1TB SSD using clonezilla. Everything works great, but the disk size is still 512GB on the new 1TB SSD. BUT, there is no "unallocated space" See screen capture below. Disk 0 is 1TB SSD, but the total size is wrong at 476.92GB. If I get the "properties" for Disk 0, it correctly shows a 1TB SSD. Where is the missing ~400GB "unallocated space"

    Unallocated Space on my SSD

    Okay, whenever I cloned over my HDD to my SSD, it created a 25GB Partition that I was able to remove via Disk Management, but now I have 25GB of unallocated disk space, how do I add that to my C:/ drive?
