Windows 10: SSD stops working (DELL E6420ATG)

This laptop had a serious problem with the hard drive, (hdd 7200rpm), it suddenly stopped when using the laptop or sometimes just didn't start the system, so I had to restart the whole thing to make it work.

Two weeks ago I changed the hard drive to an SSD, hoping for it to be the solution to the previous problem, I installed it and it worked at first, great speed, laptop turns on in just 10 seconds, but after using it for a while, it stopped again, like the last hard drive did, I have done a couple things trying to solve the problem, which I'll list here:

-Reinstalled Windows for any possible problem with the system

-Chkdsk

-Installed drivers and updated ssd firmware

-Updated the BIOS

None of these worked for me, so I'm just looking here for help, if you could help me with this I would be very glad, please and thank you for reading, I can provide you with any other details if required.

SSD is a Kingston A400 240gb English is not my first language, sorry for any mistakes I could have committed

Wired Keyboard and Mouse Stop Working - Windows 10
I have an old Dell Studio that is running windows 10 ---

Ir has Windows 10 and SSD installed - to me it does what it needs to do but this darn mouse and keyboard stuff stopping working with no rhyme or reason is making me very frustrated.

Keyboard and Mouse are wired - NOT WIRELESS

• I cannot easily unplug and plug in the mouse/keyboard to get it going again... they are still lit up but they are dead basically and I have to do a hard reset.
  
• USB selective suspend is disabled.
• I checked the drivers for the keyboard and mouse and they are updated.
• I checked to see if PC has KB4074588 and it does not.

I am not sure what else to do.... I can go days without the issue and then days where anytime I step away from the PC it stops working.

I can say when it is working it just does not just stop ... only when I walk away and the machine is idle or the screen is locked.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

SSD stops and freezes laptop

Couple of updates:

1. I created a Linux boot USB key, and monitored my SSD under Linux, so this is evidently not a Windows issue, and
2. I loaded new firmware for the SSD, and my system seems to be functioning normally now. What a pleasure using a PC that doesn't consistently freeze up.
