Discus and support SSD takes a long time 5 minutes to boot after a shutdown in Windows 10 Performance & Maintenance to solve the problem; This only applies if I use the shutdown button to forcibly turn the computer off.     SSD takes a long time 5 minutes to boot after a shutdown


    This only applies if I use the shutdown button to forcibly turn the computer off. If I shut it down using the interface, it turns on quickly as usual.

    Long shutdown and restart time in Windows 10

    Hi all,

    I recently got Dell Inspiron 15-5577 Gaming i5 Model without SSD with Windows 10 single language installed. Current version installed is 1709 Build16299.309. If I restart my computer it takes 4-5 minutes and even the shutdown time is 3-4 minutes. I have already clean installed the OS so that all the bloatware is removed. Haven't installed any Antivirus program. Have already set waittokill to 1000, tried turning Fast startup off and make changes to registry but nothing worked.

    I'm really disappointed with this since my 7 years old desktop with 4 GB RAM and Dual Core processor running Windows 7 boots and shutdown faster than this machine.

    Windows 10 24GB and SSD takes 5 minutes to Boot

    My i5 desktop Windows 10 Pro is taking over 5 minutes to boot--with a SSD. I have run the xBootMgr profile and it shows winlogon.exe starts immediately and for 2.50 min of the 5.83 min boot time, there is nothing--other process or disk activity going on during this period. Any suggestions has to how to determine what winlogon is waiting for?

    Hi.

    I have a PC running Windows 10, but it is taking an unusually long time to boot. It can take more than 5 minutes, even though the boot drive is a 250GB Crucial MX200 with the latest firmware. I know that this is a very vague issue, but if i should provide more info for you, let me know.

    My motherboard is an Asus Q87M-E btw.
