  1. ssd with os died

My pc has 2 SSD one with 500 gig that has my windows 10 and another 1TB with my steam library. My ssd with my OS died. I don't have a CD rom reader on my pc. How do I put windows 10 on my other ssd so that I can play my games? I can't download windows because my key is on my dead ssd. I have tried cloning my ssd to my other one but at 1% it stops and says error 9,because it's broken. Help please! I rather not loose my video game library but if i have to format my bigger ssd, just to install windows on it, I WILL

    :)

    Is my SSD dead?

It happened about a month ago so I'm can't remember the exact details of how it died. I think I restarted the PC and the message was there I had no OS. Today I popped in my mirrored HD and was up running. I hocked up the SSD and restarted the PC but no sign of the SSD. Power is on (Zalman “hot swap” case has a power LED for each disk). I tried to find it in DOS but the drive is no where to be found. Any suggestions for a next step? It 1½ month past RMA but the important thing is to retrieve some of the files.

64Gb SSD for OS or 2Tb HDD for storage ?!

I suggest that you get the 2tb for storage. SSDs are only useful if you want to boot things fast like OS and programs. I actually suggest you get both if you have that many movies.
