Windows 10: SSH aliases?

Is there any way to make a config file for host aliases?

example: I want to be able to type "ssh linuxmachine" instead of ssh user@ipaddress



I tried making a config.txt file in my .ssh user folder that reads:

Hosts "linuxmachine"

hostname "ipaddress"

user "username"



- I tried "ssh linuxmachine" and it didn't resolve it.

- I tried running it while in the .ssh folder directory I saved it in.

- I tried it as administrator in powershell and command prompt.



Any ideas? Not worried about password as I've already set up RSA keys

I'm okay with doing this a completely different way if anyone has a suggestion. I know you can doskey for command aliases but I wasn't sure how to set all the flags so I'm open to that way too

SSH Client Beta

I have been using the Windows SSH client instead of putty to SSH into my raspberry pi. What is the paste shortcut for the vim editor? I have tried these things in normal, insert, and paste mode. Here's a list of things I've tried that does not work:

ctrl+Shift+Insert

Shift+Insert

crtl+v

Shift+crtl+v

right click

scroll click

When I attempt these things, I either get no result, a ':', or a blank line.

Hello everyone..

Am looking some help with my Open SSH Private and Public Key..Windows 10 Professorial.

I Enable the ssh run's the Common ssh-keygen and it ask for a password and I did put an Password but now that I need the Public Key to use as the Password and I have no Idea how to find it....Can anybody Help? Please and thank you very much...I Try doing
some research on line but non of the instruction seems to work..
