Windows 10: SSH login requires me to enter password

I attempting to ssh between two Windows laptops "behind" my firewall in a private network.The problem is I'm prompted to enter the password for the accounts between the two laptops.I thought I disabled this feature in the sshd_config. Is this something that can't be avoided on Windows's platforms.I never have this problem on Linux servers and clients.

Login hangs after entering password

Repro:

• Boot up Win 10 after latest update
• Enter correct password for Microsoft account
• Attempt to login

Result : Login freezes and I am not able to log in.

Hard boot is required.

 

No login password craziness

Brink, that was the missing step. What threw me off was in netplwiz, where it asks about password for my MS account, the user name was not the same as my MS account name. Once I entered the password (twice) I can now login without entering a password. In fact the name that was listed was not the MS account name, but a folder name. The folder is the one that shows when you click on C:\Users.

Is there a way to ssh into a Microsoft account linked windows 10?

I have installed all the required features like OpenSSH-Server.

When you try to login, it pops up for user password and never recognize any of my passwords; that includes my windows 10's password and the linked outlook email's password.
