SSH Shell

It depends exactly what you mean. Your question is ambiguous.

If you mean that you want to use the phone to log into a Unix shell running on a computer somewhere, ie that you want to use the phone as an SSH *CLIENT* then reinob's response is correct.

If, however, you mean that you want to have the shell running on the phone and that you want to run that shell remotely on another machine, ie. that you want to use the phone as an SSH *SERVER*, then the answer is "no". At least only in a few very few particular
circumstances.

I suspect only Maemo devices can actually run an SSH server and a Unix shell thanks to their Linux heritage.

I would like to thank you for emulating the Unix commands in the Windows 10 PowerShell. I have been migrating my development environment from Unix to Windows and being able to use my Unix muscle memory to list, copy, remove, and execute files has been a

SSH Shell

Hi, Is it possible to login to a SSH shell account on a Nokia phone and use it to route encrypted traffic from phone for email etc? On a PC I use Putty to do this using phone as a modem. Any help greatly appreciated.
