    SSID not displaying

Hi Can't figure this out.. I have two laptops sitting side by side, one displays my home wifi SSID, and one doesn't. Both are running Windows 7-Pro. All the settings that I can find are set the same and I even manually entered the wifi address, but it just won't show up. All my neighbours' SSIDs do though. And I reset the router. Any suggestions..?

    :)

  2. [E51] Where's my hidden SSID ?

    Hi,

From the home page of the phone, it's possible to activate WLAN networks lookup.Several SSD are displayed, but not mine because it's hidden.

So, I've correctly setup my hidden SSID in the configuration menu, but now my SSID is never displayed on the previous said WLAN list.

How can I connect to the hidden SSID I've configured ?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

In that case, I would suggest you follow the below fixes one by one.

    Fix #!

    Step 1:

Open the Start Menu and click on Settings.

    Step 2:

    Click on Network and Internet.

    Step 3:

Choose Wi-Fi from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

    Step 4:

    Click on Manage known networks.

    Step 5:

Highlight the name of the network you want to forget (Make sure to find and delete the old SSID)

    Step 6

    Click on Forget.

    Step 7:

    Restart PC

    Fix #2

    Step 1

Right-click on the Start Menu and choose Device Manager.

    Step 2

Expand the list below Network Adapters.

    Step 3:

    Right-click on your network adapter.

    Step 4

    Select Properties.

    Step 5

Click on the Power Management tab.

    Step 6

Unmark the checkbox next to Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

Let me know the status after performing the above.

    SSID not displaying

    Windows 10 WIFI ssids

    Hi,

    Its a suggestion to Microsoft.

When you hover the cursor on the networks, it just shows the available SSIDS right. If its a secured network, just display a LOCK symbol on the SSID name. SO users can easily understand its a secured network. If its a unsecured network don't show the lock
    symbol on the SSID name.

    Thanks and Kind Regards
