Can I have some help here please What is the above all about and how to stop it appearing on one banking site.
I have run Malwarebytes/Superantispyware/adw cleaner and have Kaspersky antivir installed but nothing shows up as any nasties.
Any help here please.

No Firmware update yet? 30/01/12

The firmware wouldn't be withdrawn at this stag, just a new one would be released to fix the bugs.

It will soon be a month since the release and Nokia haven't said anything. This should be brought to the attention of the mobile tech sites. Maybe after some more embarrassing media stories Nokia may pull the finger out and be a bit more helpful on this matter.

Lumia 820 Download Photos - With broken screen

Hey all,

I have just broken my lumia 820 screen on a stag do. my insurance company have said they will fix it no problem but will wipe the photos and data. Ihave got my contacts backed up, but not the photos. is there a way u can get the photos off the camera without
using the phone.

Such as is there a way I can input the code via my laptop and then download my photos.

Try purging and changing DNS as well:

Optionally you can run CMD as admin and enter this puny thing (it eliminates 99% of malware, probably):

reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings" /v "Enabled" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f

 

Clear your entire browser cache/history from 'the beginning of time'
If that doesn't work, you may have a redirect virus.

I don't see that message using Chrome/Edge/IE so i doubt it's a problem with Lloyds site.

What I would suggest is that you bring your concerns to the attention of you bank, If possible visit a local branch and point out the message and ask them if they can explain things, It could simply be a small piece of Javascript code that they use to perform some internal task, and when finished the browser is asking is it OK to discard it. this is actually the most likely.

The UK banks are controlled by what they can do so they should have no issue with explaining things, You could just ring Customer services, but a personal visit, especially if the place is a little busy *Wink , can normally generate a better response.
