Windows 10: Standalone mic not detected even with splitter jack on Windows 10

The microphone isn't being detected, whether I use it directly or if I use a splitter jack. Both of these devices function perfectly fine on an old Windows 7, Ubuntu and on an Android phone. This isn't an issue with either device. It's strictly a Windows 10 issue. Plugging the device into the computer will let it detect the headphones, but instead of detecting the microphone, the device settings page will list the default in-built microphone TWICE.The following things have not been helpful:- Troubleshoot, which detects no issues.- Using the set-up-mic function, since it just defaults to the in

Front Panel Mic Not been detected

So I am using a gaming headset and a splitter to be able to use the mic of it. the problem is that the front panel jack for the mic doesn't detect the microphone. The rear panel does work and the mic turns on when connected to the back. A weird thing is
that if I connect the headphone part of the splitter into the microphone jack I can listen as if I connected it to the headphone jack. It detects headphones but no microphone. The rest of the front panel works normally is just the microphone jack.

I have already tried reinstalling realtek, I disable and enable realtek from detecting front panel.

Any suggestions?

My motherboard is gigabyte H110N

 

Combo headphone jack does not detect mic

So, I have a laptop with a single headphone jack, and it has the little symbol with both an headphone and a mic.
I have bought a V-moda boom pro mic. The microphone is integrated in the cable, and the tip that goes in the jack has four "parts", as it should be. The headphones work just fine, the moment I plugged it in the sound came to my headphones, but the computer just keeps using the integrated mic instead of the one on the cable. I have checked the sound settings, nothing changes, neither in the Realtek manager.

The microphone came with a splitter, and i even tried plugging in only the mic part, but still nothing.

unfornatly, i don't have any other exterernal mic to test the jack with, and as far as I know, everything is updated

 

Problem with combo jack, external microphone not recognised while using an audio splitter (3.5 mm out)

About a month ago I installed Bootcamp because you know windows are better for gaming. FYI, I had this XLR microphone, which then I bought an audio splitter so that I can connect it to the combo jack. It worked
fine least to say on MacOS. My boom arm broke, so I wasn't able to use the mic in win10. So a week ago, I bought a new boom arm, connected my mic (with my headphones) to the audio splitter then to the combo jack. To my surprise, it wasn't working. I tried
all the methods I could find on YT, but nothing helped. Now I am just stuck here using my headphones mic. I need a fix ASAP. Well, there were 2 options:

1. Internal Mic
   
2. My headphones mic (but it is disabled when I use the audio splitter)
   

In macOS, the audio splitter will replace the Internal Mic as External.
