Windows 10: Standard NVM Express Controller driver error m.2 ssd not detected

So at the moment I have two m.2 SSD's installed in my pc. The 250gb one is what I am currently using. However, I want to use a Corsair mp510 2tb gen 3 m.2 as well but it cannot be detected in BIOS or Windows. Then I looked in device manager and the Standard NVM Express Controller driver states this error:This device cannot start. Code 10An I/O adapter hardware error has occurred.How can I try and fix this? I spent days trying to get the SSD to work after building the pc, until I decided to get another m.2 to install windows onto. The motherboard is an x570s tomahawk max WIFI. Also I am sure

Standard NVM Express Controller

Hi.. Hope all are doing great...



Issue, I am running Windows 10 Pro 2004. I have an XPG SX6000 Lite 256GB M.2 drive installed on a Vantec Adapter in a PCIe slot. Motherboard is an old P8H77-V i3770 CPU. When Windows loads from a shut down (Cold Boot) the Standard NVM Express
Controller Driver loads and the drive works great. But, when a restart (Soft Boot) is done the Standard NVM Express Driver fails to load and the drive does not show and is not listed...

What do you think ? Help would be amazing... Thanks

Let me answer these one at a time... Sata Controller is set to AHCI in the Bios. This issue has been there since I installed the M.2 NVMe, M.2 Sata SSD PCIe X4 Adapter. So there is no point in the Restore to go back to. I need this adapter as there
is no M.2 connections on the motherboard... old board.... Asus P8H77-V. A screen shoot of Disk Management would simple show you a shot of the drive being there after a cold start... like it is now.... All are showing healthy.. I have a C, F, G, D, H drive....
If I did a restart (Soft Boot) then it would not show the SSDM.2 H drive and the Standard NVM Express Controller Drive would not load. For some reason when a Restart (Soft Boot) is made the driver does not load.. so no M.2 drive....
