    My son logged into his account today for the first time after a few days and he discovered that the mouse had extreme input lag. After about 5-10 minutes, this goes away and it works as normal. I was able to workaround this by changing his account type to administrator.To test the theory, I created a non microsoft account user as a standard user to test it out, and same problem. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I don't run windows updates as often as I should so I can't pinpoint the exact update that caused it. I thought it was something else so did a fresh reset of the PC as well, and

    Updated Windows 11 seems to be missing features that everyone else has

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    The update September 12, 2023 - KB5030219 (OS Build 22621.2283) did not include any new features like ungrouping the taskbar icons, that is expected to be released next month in the 23H2 feature update.

    Local user disappeared frin login options after upgrade

    Hi Zoee,

    Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I was unable to fix the issue. Here are my steps:

    • I've uninstalled the last 3 updates (the ones from september):
      • however, they keep getting reinstalled:

    • I've added two new users: one from the GUI, the other as you suggested in step 2:
      • They are listed under users;
    • I've also booted in safe mode just to check.
    I still have no way to login other than with the main account. No local users are available at login or when I go to start menu and click on my user.

    Please advise
