START and system settings are not working

    Hey!
The following problem occurred to me: when I try to click on start, in the search box, clock, volume setting or notification - nothing happens. No windows pop up. If I click the right mouse button on the START then the pop-up menu pops up, but after clicking, for example in "settings", nothing happens. I can enter the file explorer, the "Run" command works, PowerShell works.

I can only use the Internet browser and file browser for the moment, I can not do anything else.

I am asking for help in solving this problem.

    :)

    Programs not working

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Thanks for the update and response.

I suggest you to perform repair upgrade as suggested from my last post I also suggest you to update the Current Windows operating system and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps for the same.

    • If you want to check manually
    • Select the Start button.
    • Then select Settings > Update & security >
Windows Update > Check for updates.
