    Can anyone help me on this? I am at my wits end. I have removed the driver, reinstalled it, check the hard drives, etc. I can't figure this out. I can't do a system restore. I tried to roll back to 8.1, but it says I have to remove my user account. But when I go to remove the user account, it isn't there.

    I'm sorry no one else has come up with ideas, this has to have something to do with a change that occurred in the last 2 weeks. Was it as soon as you upgraded to W10 or did you run with no issues on W10 for a long period?

    You can review the reliability history of W10 to see what updates occurred and if you know the approx. date when this started you can try and list the changes that were made around that time. Type reliability in the search box and open the app to view the Reliability History.

    You do not list details of your motherboard, there may well be an update to the BIOS that can be applied or there may be other drivers for your MB that can be updated. It is possible that an update to the MB could have been applied automatically by Microsoft in one of its updates and this needs to be rolled back, the reliability history should give a clue to this.

    I hope you can find something that we can work on!
