    Start button frozen


    Windows 10. I am fed up with not being able to close my computer every day using the Start button shut down. The time I have wasted trying many fixes to get the Start button working. All have failed.


    Like many many others with the same problem I have just about had enough of Microsoft. No way will I buy your products in future unless you get off your behind and fix the problem.

    • What is the make and model of your device?
    • Which Windows operating system is your device running on? Include the version and build version.
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Start Button is frozen and Edge has disappeared

    The start button is not functioning and Edge has disappeared. I can only right click the start button and most functions are frozen

    Start Button displaying but not working


    The start button was working until there was a forced reboot (power failure). Then left click (normal click) over the start button does absolutely nothing. Right click brings up a menu but "programs" and also "settings" are missing and not included on this list. Search or Task View buttons do not work either with "normal" click. Does anyone have any suggestion or fixes?
