Windows 10: Start icons and desktop icons are blank, none of the fixes online work

Discus and support Start icons and desktop icons are blank, none of the fixes online work in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; Some of my Desktop icons and almost all the start icons are blank.     Start icons and desktop icons are blank, none of the fixes online work


    Some of my Desktop icons and almost all the start icons are blank. I'm on Windows 10 x64 and I've tried almost everything from rebuilding the icon cache to Sfc and Dism scan. Nothing works.

    Blank shortcut icon GPU-Z

    It's not fixed, today my GPU-Z icon is a blank shortcut icon again..
    And it says GPU-Z.exe does not contain an icon

    Remove Linux Desktop Icons

    I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

    Blank shortcut icon GPU-Z

    Ok I fixed it, last time I updated GPU-Z and that gave me a blank icon, I just uninstalled my current and downloaded/installed the latest version and the icon is back.
