Windows 10: Start Menu fonts and icons are Magnified

Discus and support Start Menu fonts and icons are Magnified in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I currently have my screen extended from 16:10 to a 16:9 monitor.     Start Menu fonts and icons are Magnified


    I currently have my screen extended from 16:10 to a 16:9 monitor.


    The start menu is not working a expected on the 16:9 screen.

    Icons and fonts are magnified and not able to display the full list, also there's a limit on the scrolling.


    Please find below the comparison of start menus from both screen, when scrolled all the way down.

    Start menu default internet acces icon screwed?

    You generally set that via the Start Menu settings (right-click start menu -> properties).

    I had that issues a while ago, and it meant removing it from the Start Menu, and reinstalling my browser to get the icon back, it was very odd.

    OMG, font size and icons of my E5 are HUGELY magnified

    try using FONT magnifier app in MENU>Applications>Font Magnifier...

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows key.
    • Search and click on Windows Easy of Access.
    • Right click on magnifier.
    • Select pin to Start.
