    Start Menu Not Transparent

    Hi,

    I agree. Same issue on Surface Pro 3.

    Landscape to portrait mode switch loses start menu transparency.

    Restarting Windows Explorer fixes temporarily : Call up task manager, find Windows Explorer, then click Restart button.

    This refreshes the task Ba and start menu has transparency returned.

    The issue also presents itself after resuming from Sleep.

    No matter how many times I set or reset any options to do with start menu, background or lock screen etc., only a system or Windows Explorer restart will put back transparency, temporarily!

    I've also tried varius advanced settings, under Sytem, performance an this, too, does nothing.

    There is definitely a bug somewhere, since the last batch of updates in the past 4 weeks, or so.

    oh, and also, please can we have back, the Full Onscreen Keyboard? No idea why this was removed. It's present on the Login screen but nowhere else during normal tablet use.

    No transparency in start menu

    I'm using Windows 10 Pro & I've updated to the latest version i.e.
    1803 version. Before the update also I was having a non-transparent
    Start Menu, even after selecting the Transparency Effects option (
    Settings > Personalisation > Colours > Transparency Effects ), and I thought it to be a bug & waited for the next update. But now, even after updating to version 1803 also it was not solved. The taskbar's transparency is working fine, but the Start
    Menu     is always opaque (except Full Screen mode). So, if there's any way to solve it, please say...

    Start menu transparency

    That only makes the task bar more transparent (Classic Shell already takes care of that) The start menu transparency doesn't change :/
