Windows 10: Start menu issue

When I click the start button, instead of seeing Most used apps I see the All Programs. I would like to see the Most used apps. I do have the Most used apps set for the start menu in settings.

Any Ideas out there?

My start menu icons aren't showing up properly!

I have same problem, the start menu is not working. when you click it , nothing happened. Microsoft edge and store icon are missing on the taskbar.

Thanks for your initial response. Unfortunately, I am unable to create a new profile as I cannot access the start menu. Is there a way to repair the system files? Thank you!

 

What build of Windows 10 are you on?

It looks like you have some form of hybrid between tablet view and normal view.

What do you get when you click the three lines at the top left of the start menu area?

 

The start menu shows everything correctly. However when I click the start button again the All apps appears again. I got to click the hamburger each time on the start menu to see the normal start menu.

 

He is in the insider preview, yours will look like that after the anniv update, you can tell plainly from his screenshot as well, due to the watermark.

This may or may not be a bug, so for now, you can give feedback back to MS on it.
