Windows 10: Start menu missing right click menu options as well as app logos for some apps

Having this issue with Windows 10 running on a HP Z Book laptop.When I right click on some programs/apps in the start menu and windows search, the only option that appears is to pin or unpin it from the start menu. Additionally, any program which is missing the normal right click menu options like uninstall or run as administrator also seem to be missing their logos.As can be seen in the first screenshot, Microsoft Edge has a blank logo on the Start screen, and when I right click it, the only option I have is to unpin it from start. The option "Pin to Start Menu" is missing in the right click menu for People App.

I have been unable to pin a tile to the Start Menu for the Windows 10's People App. The option "Pin to Start Menu" is missing in the right click menu. When I try to drag and drop the entry from the All Apps area to the Start Menu tiles area, it tells
me that the app is already pinned there, but it's not. Are there any steps I can take to activate this option for this app?

 

Feature suggestions - move to proper menus, add Options window

Suggestions:
1) Remove main menus from top left menu (system menu) and move them to a standard Windows menu, at the top.
Leave the 6 system menu items (Restore --- Close) in system menu, move all the rest to that standard main menu. The main menu can be auto-hidable - pressing Alt key to invoke it or hide it, similar to the way IE11 menus and many Windows 10 built-in apps' menus work.

2) And/or, add an Options menu or button, which would invoke a separate screen with GPU-Z Options, similar to how most Windows apps work.
Most Windows apps have a separate Options screen, which GPU-Z lacks - one should be added.

Programs and "all apps" missing from Start menu Windows 10

You will find All apps option in
Start menu of Windows 10 OS.



Before we assist further, did you check if All apps option is available in
Start menu?



If haven’t checked, follow the steps below to see if all the apps installed on the PC in located under All apps.

• Press Windows logo key on the keyboard and check if
  All apps option is located in the bottom left corner of the
  Start menu window.
• If yes, click on All apps and check if the apps and programs installed on the PC is listed.
• If you want to pin the programs and apps listed under
  All apps on the Start menu, right click on the program/app and select
  Pin to Start from the context menu.
• Close the window, click on Windows logo key on the keyboard and check if the program/app is pinned to
  Start menu.
