    Start menu windows 10 stops working after using lockscreen.


    Start menu stops responding after locking the screen and going away for a couple of hours.eg. Lock Windows 10 21H2 19044.1706, leave for a couple of hours. Will unlock pc as normally, everything functions correctly except can't use the search function in the start menu. Also won't be able to search anything using the search function within the start menu.To fix it I can manually open taskmanager, end explorer.exe and restart explorer.exe. Start menu will function as normal again.This seems to happen pretty often mostly when I leave my computer locked for an extended period of time.My questio

    Start menu stopped working in Windows 10

    The Start Menu on my copy of Windows 10 stopped working for no apparent reason. I have tried the suggested four steps above. The first three ran. The final one failed to run due to an error. The process did not fix the start menu. My Windows 10 computer
    is disabled and unusable. I need a solution ASAP.
