Windows 10: start screen

when I click the start button in the lower left corner and the screen opens, there is a photos square you can choose. the photos that appear in that square are ones that have been deleted and cannot be found anywhere on my computer. any suggestions on how to access them.....

  Click Start icon and click Settings
  
• 
  Choose Personalization, click on Start
  
• 
  Turn on “Use start full screen”
