Windows 10: start screen

My start screen seems to be a foggy grey color and has a different start then normal it no longer shows my apps instead it shows pinned tiles how can i go back to normal

I would suggest you to try the following steps:

• 
  Click Start icon and click Settings
  
• 
  Choose Personalization, click on Start
  
• 
  Turn on “Use start full screen”
