    Start specific applications in a certain virtual desktop


    Usually, I have 3 virtual desktops active. The applications I use are as follows. Workspace 1 - IDE, Obsidian Workspace 2 - Firefox Workspace 3 - Discord, SpotifyEvery time I turn up my laptop, I start them manually and put them into the correct workspaces. I want them to start automatically when I start them. Also, I am aware of vdesk which enables me to open applications on specific virtual desktops. But I don't want any script to run on startup creating applications. My goal is to when I start the application, for example firefox by clicking on the icon or by searching, it should start in t

  2. Move Applications Between Virtual Desktops

    Try the following steps to move applications between virtual desktops.


    • Right-click on the program you want to move.

    • Select “Move to”, and then select the desktop number to which you want to move the program.
    You can also, drag and drop the app of your choice to the desktop you want to add.

    Lock application in virtual desktop

    Is it possible to lock certain applications or windows in virtual desktops? I use sticky notes a lot and would prefer for them to stay in virtual desktop 2? I know how to move them there however, every time I restart my computer they are back in desktop
    1. Can I 'lock" them into desktop 2?
