Windows 10: "Start the conversation" pop up

How do I stop the blue pop up with the "Start the conversation" from appearing at the lower right corner of the screen when I'm on the internet. My investigations keep telling me it's connected to Microsoft Edge but my efforts using the info to room this pop up have failed. Help!

In the list of installed applications, long press on Conversations and select Remove from the pop-up window that appears.

Always on Top for Conversations in Skype for Business 2016

I finally figured out how to do this but it requires starting a second conversation.

Once you start a second conversation you get a “Pop this conversation out” button on the top.

Clicking on that will open the conversation into a separate window and grant you you the normal right click options.

annoying desktop pop ups

Hi Sheena,

Pop ups can be distracting for some, and depending on your reference, you can disable the desktop pop ups by following these steps:

• Click Start or the Windows logo and go to Settings (gear icon).
• Go to System and choose Notification & actions.
• Under Notifications, turn off Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows or whatever you want to turn off.
• Close the window and it will automatically save the changes.
