    Starting in "normal startup" crashes my computer


    Hi,

    I noticed today that I had been using "selective startup" for months now, as such I reverted to "normal startup" and every time I reboot the system crashes with the notice that the computer has to be repaired or something similar.

    As I have a Macrium Reflect image, I reload a backup with "selective startup" and everything is OK.

    As I suppose I should use normal startup, please advise on this issue.

    Cannot Enter Safe Mode / Computer boots normally

    I'm running Win 10 Pro 1903.

    Here are the steps I have taken to get into safe mode: Start button, settings, update and security, recovery, advanced startup, troubleshoot, advanced options, startup settings, restart. The computer boots normally, not in safe mode. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks in advance for your help and interest. .

    Hi Dimas,

    There are different factors that can contribute to the issue you're facing that your computer wont boot up to the normal Windows 10 environment after using diagnostic startup. This could be caused by corrupted files or settings that need to be reconfigured.
    As a initial recommendation, kindly refer to the steps below to start the computer in normal mode.

    • Press Windows + R keys from the Keyboard.
    • Type msconfig and hit Enter.
    • Click on the General tab.
    • Select the Normal startup option.
    • Click on Apply and Ok.
    • Restart the system and check.
