Windows 10: Startup icon removal

When I turn my computer on, it now has 3 icons re sports, weather and news. This is on the same page as my password as soon as the computer boots up. I don't want them there. How do I get rid of them? They add to the confusion of the screen and I didn't ask for them and don't want them. As far as the choices for what category this is, nothing you have there really fits this. I chose the best of the worst.

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

The issue is that there is no mechanism to remove individual icons from that list.

Only clear the whole list (which is what your VBS script does).

All programs have the same issue
