Windows 10: Startup issues: user profile service failed & BIOS/startup menus not showing

Hi, My HP windows 11 PC crashed during an update, and now I cannot log in anymore.Windows seems to start normally, but after entering my PIN from the login screen, I get a black screen showing 'The user Profile service service failed the sign-in. User profile cannot be loaded'The solutions I can find online safe mode / Resetting from Startup menu ect. all start with either the blue advanced restarting options or via the BIOS menu. However, when I try to restart in safe mode, or even just try to enter the BIOS at startup, I can here the beep indicating the has opened, but no blue menu/BIOS sc

Hello,

When attempting to login to my computer, I get the following message:

"The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in.

User profile cannot be loaded."

I referred to this Help article,You receive a "The User Profile Service failed the logon” error
message,

but the only difference is I only have one user profile on this computer. So, I can't login with another user to go through the steps listed in this post.

Any suggestions?

This issue might be due to the User profile Services, please follow the below and check.

I suggest you to Check the status of User profile services.

Steps:

• Press Windows + R to open Run command, type
  Services.msc and press Enter.
• Search for User Profile Service, right click on it and
  start the service.
• Also, set the Startup type to
  Automatic.
• Now check if you are able to log-in.

I am trying to create new user logins on my laptop for my kids - I have successfully created user accounts that show up at startup, but I get the following error when I enter the passwords and try to login:

User Profile Service service failed the sign-in. User profile cannot be loaded.

I have tried multiple solutions from this forum, including regedit - their accounts do not show up on the ProfileList, and changing the permissions in C:\Users\Default to "Replace all child object permission entries from this object".

Also, deleted and re-added the accounts. Any other suggestions?!?!?!?!?!*Sleepy*Sick*Sleepy*Sick*Sleepy
