Startup Repair Loop - Caused by Mouse ?

Hey clever-minds I am writing out of desperation, my issue is not the biggest but it's annoying as stomping your toe on the corner of a table or something.

When I start my computer I have to have my orginal mouse that came with the computer connected, else it just goes into win10 repair loop. I figure it must have something to do with drivers being preloaded, idk. I've tried to disconnect the mouse and start the computer, this causes it to repair loop, disconnect keyboard, keep mouse connected = repair loop.

To summ up: I can only start my pc when my Razer Abyssus mouse is connected, after windows has loaded I can reconnect my logitech. And by the way, it does this with every single mouse I have tried out.

    :)

  2. Startup Repair Loop

I have windows 10, and recently upgraded my graphics card. I turned the computer off, pulled the old card, and inserted the new, ensuring that all connections were properly established. Upon booting up the PC, I was put through startup repair, and it claimed
it couldn't fix it. So I hit restart. No dice. Then I went to advance, tried a system restore, nothing. Then I used the media creation tool to repair windows via a USB drive. Nada. Then I tried to reset windows, including completely wiping my hard drive. Still,
not a thing. Windows keeps booting into startup repair and I can't fix it. Yes, I did go into BIOS already to ensure my PC had tried booting through both the USB and the HDD. Still nothing. Please help!

    Hi,

To isolate the issue, would it be possible to reinstall the old graphics card and check if the issue persists?

    Update us on the results.

I tried updating the bios yesterday, totally bricked my computer. Couldn't figure out why, I used the right firmware and so on. It's a bit akward to admit, but I think the reason was caused by lack of power. I removed my secondary hdisc and restored bios, now it's working fine.. Thanks for the answer tho´Wot *Smile
