Windows 10: Startup repair loop, Two OS Boot manager

Hi,

I am using HP notebook 1000Tu laptop. I have a 500gb hdd and I also thrashed an ssd into the optical disk drive slot using a caddy. I am using windows 10. Which is using the ssd as the primary C drive. Everything was fine untill yesterday, when I updated the windows to v 2004. After I hit restart, it goes into startup repair loop.

I tried the following,

1. sfc /scannow

2. Uninstall feature updates

3. Create bootloader using diskpart

4. System restore, keep files..

5. Boot into safe mode.

All failed, none worked a bit. Now, upon entering boot options I saw two OS boot boot manager. The first one is corrupt. Which logs into startup repair loop. The second one is the real one. It logs into windows fine. But the problem is each time I open my laptop, I have to press ESCAPE and select 2nd option manually each time.

Adding to my frustration, when I try to change boot priority in BIOS setup, only one OS boot manager is displayed. Please help me remove the corrupt boot manager and set the correct default.

Infinite loop of startup repair

When i start over do i do it on a seperate computer and install the os to usb a connect it to the Infinte loop pc?
