Startup Repair not taking password after I reset it

Hello, I'm in a situation where windows is not loading correctly, so I went to start up repair to fix it. I did not remember my password, so I reset it online my Windows is tied to a Microsoft account so its not a local only user. After resetting it, it still won't accept my password. Is there any way to fix that, or another way to fix my windows if that can't be fixed? Thanks!!

    :)

    • If you've forgotten your Windows password, there are several ways to retrieve or reset it:
      • If your PC is on a domain, your system administrator must reset your password.
      • If you're using a Microsoft account, you can reset your password online. ...
      • If you're using a local account, use your password hint as a reminder.

    • Insert installation media and restart the computer.

    • Select language and click on Next.

    • Select Repair your Computer and click on Skip this drive.

    • Select Troubleshoot and click on Advanced Options.

    • Here choose the option Automatic Repair and follow the prompted instructions.
