Windows 10: Startup Settings in the Settings is not there now.

I used to have Startup Settings In the Settings itself but now it's not there anymoreI do know that there are Startup settings in Task Manager but that does not seem to work as it resets every boot for some unknown reason I use Win 10.The issue here is that all my startup settings are reset every boot meaning they don't take effect in the first place so on the next boot my settings are not taking any effect thus no apps launch as they should.

We suggest you to try the below steps and check if you are able to get the Startup settings option.

• Restart your PC. When you get to the sign-in screen, hold the Shift key
  down while you select Power

  Restart.
• 
  After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select
  Troubleshoot > Advanced options >
  Startup Settings.

Sound card amplification settings

Yeah unfortunately ASUS and Realtek are not stepping up and fixing this it seems. Wherever I see such problems mentioned on forums some users are suggesting just uninstalling the Realtek driver and using the Windows audio driver.

 

Cannot launch Settings on startup menu

I suggest you to perform a Startup Repair by following the steps below.

• In the Lock screen, press/hold the shift key and click on power icon>restart.
• Click on Troubleshoot>Advanced Options>Startup Repair and follow the prompts to start the Startup Repair.

After the Startup Repair is complete, check for the status.
