Startup settings option missing - can’t start in safe mode

I can’t get windows 11 to boot and it keeps going straight to WinRE. I want to start in safe mode but the ‘startup settings’ button is missing. I can’t seem to get anywhere with any other options in WinRe to fix the boot problem either.

Cannot Enter Safe Mode / Computer boots normally

    I'm running Win 10 Pro 1903.

Here are the steps I have taken to get into safe mode: Start button, settings, update and security, recovery, advanced startup, troubleshoot, advanced options, startup settings, restart. The computer boots normally, not in safe mode. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks in advance for your help and interest. .

  3. Unable to start safe mode due to missing change "startup settings" option

    Hi,

I have weird problem with my laptop. I can not start fail safe mode from this new advanced troubleshoot e.g problem solving tool. I'm using Window 10 and Asus Zenbook laptop.

Currently I can not start up my laptop normally at all, but I can start the troubleshoot program. Following general instructions I follow path troubleshoot->advanced options but then instead of having one tile "startup settings" I'm missing it and have "change
UEFI settings" instead. Now I'm really stuck in hear, is there a way to get into safe mode from UEFI settings screen, or command prompt? Those seem to be the only options available for me at the moment, or is there any miracle way to get "startup settings"
tile back instead of "Change UEFI settings"???

    Cheers,

    Mikko
